We’ve hit 10,000 customers! Now, let’s take a moment to reflect

LilaConnect has hit a new connectivity milestone in its mission to upgrade UK residents and businesses to best-in-class gigabit full fibre – we’ve connected 10,000 customers!

A big thank you to the wonderful 10,000 of you who’ve chosen us as your Internet Service Provider and have joined us on this journey. Since 2019, a lot has changed, and we’re excited to have grown as a company and, more importantly, helped our customers to communicate with friends and family online, boost homeworking, stream, game and, generally, future-proof their homes for all the connected devices and technologies to come. 

Beyond this latest milestone, it’s been an exciting year. We’ve also rolled out our services in London via the Prime Fibre network, launched our business packages to support Britain’s SMEs, and have partnered with our patron, the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, to provision its 1Gbps business second-line service. 

But don’t just take our word for it. We’re a customer-centric business and the opinion that matters is yours – our customers. With that mind, we visited our 10,000th customer, Iain, flowers in hand, for a celebration and to check in on his experience with LilaConnect so far…

How have you found the experience of being a connected customer of LilaConnect?

“The experience, all-round, has been great – the communication has been exemplary, and it’s felt very straightforward for me as a customer.”

How important is a good internet connection to you and has it made an impact on your life?

“I work from home quite often, and a lot of my work is ‘cloud-based’, so internet connection is extremely important for me. Without it, my job would be made extremely challenging. Plus, it’s always a perk to have a good internet connection for gaming too!”

What do use your gigabit speed for – streaming, gaming, smart devices etc.?

“Yes, I use it for streaming and gaming, but mostly for work, making it much more imperative in my life.”

What attracted you to choosing LilaConnect for your internet?

“The speed for the price is incomparable, which is extremely rare nowadays.”

What’s an advantage of LilaConnect that you haven’t had access to before?

“Fast internet! LilaConnect’s service is about ten times faster than my previous one. I was paying for 60mbps and was only getting 30! It’s good to pay for what you get.”

Would you recommend this service to others?

“I already have! And I’ll definitely keep on recommending it to others.”
