The Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards are all about celebrating success and achievement and we are pleased they are back for 2021! Given the difficulties the past year has presented, it has never been more important to highlight the fantastic work Staffordshire businesses have undertaken. Keep reading to find out how to enter for its brand-new award and why it’s important to show your support for your local businesses.

The ‘Online Business of the Year’ award is a new Business Awards category for 2021. It aims to shine a light on businesses who have taken an innovative approach to online sales.
The coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has confronted many companies with new operational challenges over the past 18 months, in fact when the UK entered the first lockdown in March 2020, most businesses were forced to make extraordinary changes to their operations. With this in mind, we want to hear from businesses who have utilised online communications and sales methods to diversify their product offering or to target new markets.
Thinking about entering?
This category is open to businesses in all sectors, but we particularly want to highlight the creativity and resourcefulness of those sectors hit hardest by the pandemic and encourage applications from the Retail, Leisure, Culture and Tourism sectors.
How and when to enter…
Entries are now open and will close on the 24th September 2021.

Once all entries have been collated, the judging will begin and will be completed by the 6th November 2021.
Announcing the winner…
The awards show will take place on Thursday 18th November 2021 with a planned hybrid event featuring a combined virtual and in-person ceremony. The ceremony will follow all government social distancing and capacity guidelines at the time of the event. For more details please click here.
